Verniflam® AITHON F3A
Verniflam® AITHON F3A top coat is a varnish that allows the reaction to fire classifications of Euroclass B, C and D wood substrates to be maintained. This finish only slightly or not at all modifies the fire behaviour of wooden substrates of 8 mm and more, on areas such as walls or ceilings, which are not subject to mechanical stress. Verniflam® AITHON PV33 is not suitable for floors or stairs, for example.
Verniflam® AITHON F3A top coat is also the non-downgrading finishing product of the Verniflam® AITHON PV33 intumescent fireproofing system for fireproofing wood on the surface.
It is a water-based varnish.
Application with a brush or roller PROHIBITED, only with a spray gun.
Packaging in 4kg or 16kg cans.
Any application of a varnish must be tested beforehand to check compatibility with the support.
We also offer the application of our intumescent solutions in workshops, on your supports, and the possibility of tinting, do not hesitate to contact us for any request or quote.
Choose your packaging
The Verniflam® Aithon F3A top coat is used as a protective layer of the Verniflam®Aithon PV33 Intumescent Primer intumescent varnish.
On its own, it can be used as a non-degrading finish, it allows the reaction to fire classifications of Euroclass B, C or D wood substrates to be maintained.
Used with the Verniflam® Aithon PV33 it fire-classifies wood and wood-based materials inside the E.R.P. It is also suitable for improving the fire resistance of wooden elements.
Reaction to fire:
- 300 g/m2 Verniflam® Aithon PV33 primary intumescent (in two passes).
- 40 g/m2 Verniflam® Aithon F3A Top Coat (one pass).
Fuel consumption refers to fire behaviour according to EN 13501-1.
Fire resistance:
- from 300 g/m2 to 1150 g/m2 Verniflam® Aithon PV33 intumescent primary (in several passes).
- from 40 g/m2 to 70 g/m2 Verniflam® Aithon F3A Top Coat.
A tint is possible on request, please contact us.
Consumption refers to fire resistance according to ENV 13381-7 and EN 13501-2.
Application with a spray gun. May require dilution.
