Verniflam® Intumescent Varnish
The ambition was to create a new space and to enhance a volume that had been on two floors before the work, with a mezzanine and a staircase blocking the perspective. The new ceiling, made up of 1,100 pieces of wood created and assembled by hand, adorns the space, giving a strong new identity to the foyer of the Carrousel du Louvre.
All the rooms have been fireproof by applying an intumescent Verniflam® system, giving a Euroclass B / M1 classification that satisfies the passive fire regulations in the E.R.P.
