Fireproofing with Verniflam® Intumescent Varnish
Designed by the architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte, the Grand Palais Éphémère is a temporary building installed on the Champ-de-Mars. Its wooden frame and its ecological virtues make it a remarkable building, resolutely anchored in our time. A real architectural feat that fits into a site whose history is, like that of the Grand Palais, intimately linked to the Universal Exhibitions of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries.
The structure of the building is designed to be modular and can be reused in multiple configurations after its removal from the Champ-de-Mars in the fall of 2024. The modularity, the use of sustainable materials and the structure of the Grand Palais Ephémère make it a project that is totally in line with the environmental imperatives of our time.
Protecflam Industries has fireproofed the Ignipli® 3-ply solid wood panels from Woodenha Industries with Verniflam® AITHON PV33 and Verniflam® UV.
