The context
A protective device designed for emergency situations
The protection of cultural property is based on a comprehensive approach combining prevention, preparedness and response capacity.
During a week of training devoted to the protection of heritage, organised by the French Army’s Heritage Delegation, the Saint-Remi Museum in Reims hosted a collection evacuation exercise in real conditions.
This scenario illustrates the importance of having, in addition to operational evacuation and safeguarding systems, solutions that allow for the rapid protection of heritage works and objects.
