Hydroflam® SD19
Hydroflam® SD19 is a flame retardant product developed for preserved plants and natural fir trees, which delays ignition and limits the spread of flames in stabilized moss supports such as bryophytes, balls or lichens, and any decoration made from natural fir branches.
Its effectiveness requires small quantities. Its penetration capacity is very strong and facilitates its application.

Choose your packaging
Hydroflam® SD19 is available in liquid form (without VOCs or formaldehyde), odourless and colourless. It is ready to use. It can be coloured (powder dye or liquid acrylic) to achieve an aesthetic effect or traceability. It is slightly foaming. The fireproof material, once dry, can be tinted but only with non-downgrading products.
Hydroflam® SD19 is recommended for the fireproofing of stabilised plants, such as bryochytes, balls or lichens. Hydroflam® SD19 has been tested on M1 stabilised foam glued to an M1 cardboard substrate (with a thickness of between 3 and 30 mm) or on a solid non-combustible support.

Must be used in dry, enclosed indoor spaces.
Implementation and preparation of the substrate
The substrate must be dry, free of dust, oil, wax, grease, dirt, resin, etc.
Hydroflam® SD19 is applied on a dry, porous sprinkler substrate with a flat fan nozzle.
It is advisable to let it dry between 12 and 72 hours depending on the temperature and humidity, either naturally or quickly. A slight shrinkage of the fibre may occur. Tests must be carried out beforehand.
Indicative yields
The consumption of Hydroflam® SD19 varies according to the nature, composition, mass of the substrate and the target fire classification. In general, the carrying rate of Hydroflam® SD19 must be around 40% of the mass of the substrate to be treated.
For example, to fire retardant a 200 g stabilised foam, 80 g of Hydroflam® SD19 will be required. The mass of the wet foam before drying must be 280 g.
