It is ready to use. It can be coloured (powder dye or liquid acrylic) to obtain an aesthetic effect or traceability. It is slightly foaming. The fireproof material, once dry, can be tinted but only with <b>non-degrading<\/b> products.<\/p>\r\n <p>Prevents the spread of flames and fire and reduces the development of smoke.<\/p>\r\n <p>Must be used in dry and closed indoor rooms.<\/p>\r\n <h3><b>Installation and preparation of the substrate<\/b><\/h3>\r\n <p>The substrate must be dry, free of dust, oil, wax, grease, dirt, resin, etc.<\/p>\r\n <p><strong>Hydroflam\u00ae AP15<\/strong> can be applied in 2 ways on dry, porous, double-sided substrate:<\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>By &#8220;refusal&#8221; spraying with a flat jet nozzle (recommended for fragile papers, such as crepe)<\/li>\r\n <li>By dipping (total immersion in the flame retardant).<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p>It is advisable to let it dry between 12 and 72 hours depending on the temperature and humidity, in a natural or accelerated way. A slight shrinkage of the fiber may occur.<\/p>\r\n<h3><b>Indicative returns<\/b><\/h3>\r\n<p>The consumption of <strong>Hydroflam\u00ae AP15<\/strong> varies according to the nature, composition, mass of the substrate and the fire classification targeted. In general, the payload ratio of <strong>Hydroflam\u00ae AP15<\/strong> must be around 40% of the mass of the substrate to be treated.<\/p>\r\n<p>E.g.: to flame retardant a 200 g polyester fabric, 80 g of <strong>Hydroflam\u00ae AP15<\/strong> will be required.
