The fireproof material, once dry, can be tinted but only with <b>non-downgrading<\/b> products.<\/p>\r\n<p>Prevents the spread of flames and fire and reduces the development of smoke.<\/p>\r\n<p>Must be used in dry, enclosed indoor spaces.<br><br><\/p>\r\n<h3><b>Implementation and preparation of the substrate<\/b><\/h3>\r\n<p>The substrate must be dry, free of dust, oil, wax, grease, dirt, resin, etc.<\/p>\r\n<p><strong>Hydroflam\u00ae S17<\/strong> can be applied in 2 ways on a dry, porous surface, double-sided:<\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>By &#8220;refusal&#8221; spraying with a flat jet nozzle (recommended for fragile papers, such as crepe)<\/li>\r\n <li>By dipping (total immersion in the flame retardant).<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p>It is advisable to let it dry between 12 and 72 hours depending on the temperature and humidity, in a natural or accelerated way. A slight shrinkage of the fiber may occur.<br><br><\/p>\r\n<h3><b>Indicative returns<\/b><\/h3>\r\n<p>The consumption of <strong>Hydroflam\u00ae S17<\/strong> varies according to the nature, composition, mass of the substrate and the target fire classification. In general, the carrying rate of <strong>Hydroflam\u00ae S17<\/strong> must be around 30% of the mass of the substrate to be treated.<\/p>\r\n<p>E.g.: to fireproof a 200 g silk fabric, 60 g of <strong>Hydroflam\u00ae S17<\/strong> will be required.
