It is ready to use. It can be coloured (powder dye or liquid acrylic) to obtain an aesthetic effect or traceability. The fireproof material, once dry, can be stained, painted or varnished but only with <b>non-degrading<\/b> products.<\/p>\r\n<p>Prevents the spread of flames and fire and reduces the development of smoke.<\/p>\r\n<p>Must be used in dry, enclosed rooms, indoors.<\/p>\r\n<h3><b>Implementation and preparation of the substrate<\/b><\/h3>\r\n<p>The substrate must be dry, free of dust, oil, wax, grease, dirt, resin, etc.<\/p>\r\n<p><strong>Hydroflam\u00ae C10<\/strong> can be applied on dry, porous substrates, double-sided:<\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>By &#8220;refusal&#8221; spraying with a flat jet nozzle.<\/li>\r\n <li>By dipping (total immersion in the flame retardant).<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p>It is advisable to let it dry between 12 and 72 hours depending on the temperature and humidity, in a natural or accelerated way. A slight shrinkage of the fiber may occur.<\/p>\r\n<h3><b>Indicative returns<\/b><\/h3>\r\n<p><strong><u>To fire retardant raffia:<\/u><\/strong> the consumption of Hydroflam\u00ae C10 must be 30% of the mass of the support by dipping (the solution must first be diluted to 50%), or 15% of the mass of the support for spray treatment (the solution is used without dilution).<\/p>\r\n<p>E.g.: to fire retardant 200 g of natural raffia, 60 g of Hydroflam\u00ae C10 (diluted to 50%) will be required by dipping, or 30 g by spraying. The mass of natural raffia wet before drying must be 260 g per dip or 230 g per spray.<\/p>\r\n<p><strong><u>To fire retardant cardboard:<\/u><\/strong> the consumption of Hydroflam\u00ae C10 (undiluted solution) must be 40% of the mass of the substrate, per spray.<\/p>\r\n<p>E.g.: to fire retardant 200 g of cardboard, 80 g of Hydroflam\u00ae C10 will need to be sprayed.
